Final Post
Over the 17 days to make a difference I learnt that even if you do a small thing to help someone, they appreciate it, even if it is something like taking out the rubbish, or feeding the cats. 17 days to make a difference was very worth while, because my family appreciated it that I was doing extra chores, and helping out around the house. I put in an effort rating 7/10. I have learnt that to be a good citizen you don't have to do something really big, it could be something like putting a piece of rubbish you see on the ground in the bin that will make you a good citizen.

Day 17 Tuesday 10th June 2009
Today is the last day, so I thought I would do two kind deeds. I hand washed all the dishes that didn't fit into the dishwasher, and I hung out the washing. I know I made a difference because my dad said that he would hagve to put in another load for the dishes, but I said that I would hand wash them for him. I felt really great that I had done more than one kind deeds, and I felt great that I had saved my dad some time. I know that my dad appreciated it becuaue he said thanks to me.

Day 16 Monday 8th June 2009
Today my kind deed was emptying the cat litter trays because they needed emptying. I know I made a difference because my mum or dad usually does it, so I helped them out. I felt good that I can help them since they already do so much for me. I know that they appreciated it because my mum thanked me after I did it.

Day 14 Thursday 4th June 2009
Today my kind deed was making my mum and dad a hot drink each, and sweeping the kitchen floor for my brother. I know I made a difference because my brother had to go to bed so I took some stress off him and did the sweeping for him (He usually doesn't want to to it anyway, so I think he was glad.). I felt great that I helped my brother by doing his job, and also making my mum and dad a drink. I know that my mum and dad appreciated it that I made them a drink because they said Thank you.

Day 13 Wednesday 3rd June 2009
T0day I made a difference by cleaning out a cat litter tray, and also cleaning the area where my cats eat, as they are both very messy eaters. I know I made a difference because my mum usually does it, so I helped her out. I felt great that I helped my mum and dad with a chore. My mum appreciated it, because she shaid that she would appreciate it if I cleaned up after my cats, which I did.

Day 12 Tuesday 3rd June 2009
Today I tided my room because I was starting to get a pile of clothes on my floor. I know I made a difference because I tided my room before it got too messy, so my mum wouldn't have to shut the door every time she went past. I felt really good that I had tided my room so that it wouldn't get too messy. My mum appreciated it because she said thanks when I told her that I would clean my room.
